My Plushie Dreadfuls Collection

’ve been collecting plushies for as long as I can remember, but few brands have resonated with me quite like Plushie Dreadfuls. What initially drew me to them was their adorable designs, but what made me fall in love with them was the thought and care behind each plush. Every bunny tells a story, representing different experiences ranging from neurodiversity and disabilities to mental health and chronic illnesses in a way that is both meaningful and comforting.

Today, I’m sharing my Plushie Dreadfuls collection and the plush companions that have earned a special place on my shelf—and in my heart. They’re proof that plushies can be more than just cute collectibles; sometimes, they can make us feel seen, understood, and a little less alone.

Scorpio Bunny

As someone born on October 25th, it probably comes as no surprise that I had to add the Scorpio Plushie Dreadful to my collection. I’ve always found zodiac signs fun to learn about, and seeing my star sign transformed into an adorable bunny was something I couldn’t resist.

Unlike many of the softer and sweeter Plushie Dreadful designs, the Scorpio Bunny has a wonderfully mischievous personality. Its glowing red eyes, stitched details, and broken heart accents perfectly capture Scorpio’s reputation for being passionate, mysterious, and fiercely protective of the people they love. It’s equal parts intimidating and adorable—a combination that somehow works surprisingly well.

One of my favorite details is the embroidered Scorpio symbol on its chest, which immediately ties the design back to the zodiac sign. The grey fur contrasted with the bright red embroidery and white accents gives it a darker aesthetic that’s quite different from the pastel plushies that usually fill my room. I think that’s part of what makes it so special in my collection—it stands out while still feeling right at home among my other plush companions.

Even though my room is practically a sea of pink décor, I love having a few pieces that break up the color palette, and the Scorpio Bunny does exactly that. Its moody design feels fitting for a late October birthday and serves as a fun little nod to my zodiac sign.

After all, what better way is there to celebrate being a Scorpio than with an adorably grumpy-looking bunny that’s equal parts cute and chaotic? ♏🐇

ADHD Bunny

The ADHD Bunny holds a particularly special place in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection because it represents a diagnosis that helped me better understand myself. I was diagnosed with ADHD in June 2024, and while receiving a diagnosis later in life came with a lot of emotions, it also provided answers to questions I’d been asking for years.

Growing up, I always felt like my brain operated a little differently from everyone else’s. Tasks that seemed simple for other people often felt overwhelming to me, and I struggled to understand why. Receiving my ADHD diagnosis helped me realize that I wasn’t simply lazy, unmotivated, or “not trying hard enough”—my brain was just wired differently.

The ADHD Bunny perfectly captures that beautifully chaotic experience. From its mismatched ears and stitched details to its whimsical design elements, it feels like a wonderful representation of an ADHD brain—creative, unconventional, and impossible to fit neatly into a box. It’s quirky in the best possible way, which feels incredibly fitting for a condition that presents itself differently in every person who has it.

One of my favorite things about Plushie Dreadfuls is that they don’t shy away from embracing imperfections and individuality. Rather than treating diagnoses as something that needs to be hidden or fixed, they’re celebrated as part of what makes each person unique. The ADHD Bunny serves as a gentle reminder that having ADHD is simply one part of who I am.

Receiving my ADHD diagnosis as an adult has allowed me to better understand my strengths, accommodate my challenges, and give myself a little more grace when things don’t go according to plan. This bunny symbolizes that journey of self-discovery and acceptance.

Out of all the plushies in my collection, the ADHD Bunny might be one of the most meaningful—not because it represents a diagnosis, but because it represents finally understanding a piece of myself. 🐇❤️

Sensory Processing Disorder Jellyfish Bunny

Out of all the Plushie Dreadfuls in my collection, the Sensory Processing Disorder Jellyfish Bunny might be one of the most thoughtfully designed. As someone who is easily overstimulated by certain textures, sounds, and environments, I immediately connected with the idea behind this plush when I first discovered it.

What makes the Sensory Processing Disorder Bunny so unique is that it comes in two different versions to represent the different ways sensory processing differences can present themselves. The blue version that I own is made from incredibly soft minky fabric and was designed with people who become easily overstimulated in mind. There’s also an orange version made from terrycloth fabric that represents sensory seekers and those who may be understimulated and crave additional sensory input.

I chose the blue bunny because it reflects my own sensory experiences. Soft fabrics have always been a comfort to me, while certain textures can quickly become overwhelming or unpleasant. Whether it’s clothing, home décor, or plushies, texture plays a huge role in my everyday life. Having a plush that acknowledges those experiences in such a thoughtful way means a lot to me.

One of my favorite design elements is its jellyfish-inspired appearance. Its long, floppy ears resemble jellyfish tentacles, giving it an extra whimsical touch that makes it stand out from the other Plushie Dreadfuls. The calming blue and green color palette also feels very fitting for a plush designed around sensory comfort—it almost reminds me of the ocean and has a wonderfully soothing aesthetic.

I love that Plushie Dreadfuls recognizes that sensory processing differences aren’t one-size-fits-all. Two people with sensory processing difficulties can have completely opposite needs, and both experiences are equally valid. By creating two versions of this bunny, the brand beautifully illustrates that sensory needs can vary from person to person.

The Sensory Processing Disorder Jellyfish Bunny serves as a gentle reminder that there’s nothing wrong with needing accommodations or seeking comfort. Sometimes that comfort comes in the form of soft blankets, noise-canceling headphones, or, in my case, an adorable jellyfish bunny made from the softest fabric imaginable. 💙🐇🪼

Migraine Bunny

Chronic migraines have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started getting migraines when I was around ten years old, and they’ve followed me through childhood and adulthood. They’re more than just headaches—they can leave me exhausted, nauseous, sensitive to light and sound, and completely unable to do the things I had planned for the day. Because migraines have had such a significant impact on my life, I knew I wanted the Migraine Bunny to be part of my Plushie Dreadfuls collection.

The Migraine Bunny has one of my favorite designs in the entire collection because it so perfectly captures what living with chronic pain can feel like. Its sad, tired expression immediately resonated with me. Anyone who experiences migraines knows that exhausted look all too well—the feeling of wanting nothing more than to lie down in a dark, quiet room and wait for the pain to pass.

One of the most unique features of this bunny is its removable migraine cap. The plush comes wearing an adorable little brain-shaped hat that represents the neurological nature of migraines. I love that you can remove it to reveal the bunny underneath, almost symbolizing the invisible struggle that many people with migraines experience. Just because someone looks fine on the outside doesn’t mean they aren’t fighting through debilitating symptoms internally.

The cracked heart embroidered on its chest is another thoughtful detail that I adore. Chronic illnesses can be incredibly frustrating and isolating at times, especially when plans have to be canceled or when your body decides it needs rest despite your best efforts. Migraines have certainly taught me that lesson over the years.

While migraines are something I wish I didn’t have to live with, they’ve also taught me to be kinder to myself and to listen when my body needs a break. This bunny serves as a reminder that rest isn’t laziness—sometimes it’s a necessity. There are days when all I can do is cuddle up with a plushie, take my medication, and give myself permission to recover.

The Migraine Bunny is a comforting little representation of a condition that so many people struggle to understand. Chronic migraines may be invisible to others, but they are very real, and this sweet bunny reminds me that I’m not alone in that experience. 💔🐇🧠

Chronic Fatigue Kitty

If I had to choose one word to describe myself on most days, it would probably be “tired.” Chronic fatigue is something I experience every single day, whether it’s from autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic migraines, PMDD, or simply the mental effort it takes to exist in a world that isn’t always designed for neurodivergent people. Being tired isn’t just needing an extra cup of coffee—it’s feeling like your battery starts the day at 40% while everyone else’s starts at 100%.

That’s why I immediately connected with the Chronic Fatigue Kitty. Out of all my Plushie Dreadfuls, this little blue kitty might be one of the most relatable. Its sleepy expression, adorable eye mask, and soft pastel blue coloring perfectly capture the feeling of wanting nothing more than to crawl back into bed and take a nap.

One of my favorite details is the sleep mask embroidered with a little heart. Chronic fatigue can make it feel like your body is constantly asking for rest, even when you’ve done absolutely nothing physically demanding. Some days, getting dressed, answering messages, or leaving the house can feel like I’ve already run a marathon. It’s frustrating because fatigue is one of those invisible struggles that other people can’t always see or understand.

Before I understood my diagnoses, I spent a lot of time wondering why everyday life seemed so much more exhausting for me than it did for everyone else. I thought I was lazy or simply not trying hard enough. It wasn’t until I learned more about neurodivergence and chronic illness that I realized my brain and body are simply working harder behind the scenes.

This sleepy little kitty serves as a reminder that needing rest isn’t something I should feel guilty about. Rest is productive when your body is asking for it. Taking breaks, staying home when I’m overwhelmed, or spending an afternoon cuddling my plushies instead of forcing myself to push through are all valid forms of self-care.

Chronic fatigue may not always be visible, but it’s very real. The Chronic Fatigue Kitty reminds me to be gentler with myself and to listen when my body says it’s time to recharge. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is put on your metaphorical sleep mask, curl up under a blanket, and simply rest. 😴🐱💙

Dyspraxia Bunny

The Dyspraxia Bunny is a little different from the rest of my Plushie Dreadfuls because I don’t have an official diagnosis—at least not yet. However, dyspraxia (also known as developmental coordination disorder) is something I’ve strongly suspected for quite some time, and many of my experiences seem to line up with it.

I’ve been described as clumsy for my entire life. Walking up and down unfamiliar stairs can make me anxious because I’m afraid I’ll misjudge a step or lose my balance. Sometimes it feels like there’s a disconnect between what my brain wants my body to do and what my body actually does. I’ve also managed to injure myself in some rather ridiculous ways over the years—and occasionally I’ll discover bruises or scratches and have absolutely no idea where they came from!

One of the things I appreciate most about the Dyspraxia Bunny’s design is that it wears its scars proudly. The red stitches and patchwork details are a reminder that living in a body that doesn’t always cooperate with you can leave both literal and figurative bumps and bruises along the way. I jokingly like to say that my body occasionally decides to play a game of “How did I manage to do that?”

Dyspraxia isn’t simply being clumsy. It can affect coordination, balance, motor skills, spatial awareness, and even make everyday tasks more mentally exhausting than they appear to others. Something as simple as navigating crowded spaces, carrying multiple objects at once, or going down a staircase can require much more concentration than people realize.

Looking back, there have been quite a few clues throughout my life. I didn’t walk until I was around eighteen months old, I’ve always struggled with coordination, and I’ve often felt awkward or out of sync physically compared to other people. While I can’t say with certainty that I have dyspraxia without a formal evaluation, learning about it has helped me better understand some of the challenges I’ve experienced.

The Dyspraxia Bunny is my little reminder to laugh at life’s awkward moments and to give myself grace when I accidentally run into door frames, trip over absolutely nothing, or discover yet another mysterious bruise. Being clumsy doesn’t make me lazy, careless, or unintelligent—it simply means that my brain and body may communicate a little differently.

Until I have answers one day, this sweet patchwork bunny represents both my curiosity and my self-compassion. After all, life is a lot easier when you can laugh, cuddle a plush bunny, and keep a few extra Band-Aids nearby—just in case. 🩹🐇💕

Shy Bunny

If there’s one word that people have used to describe me throughout my life, it’s “shy.” It’s probably the first thing I tell people when they ask me what I’m like, and it’s something that has remained true from childhood into adulthood. While I’m much more talkative when discussing my special interests or when I’m comfortable around someone, meeting new people or navigating unfamiliar situations can still feel incredibly intimidating for me.

That’s exactly why I chose the Shy Bunny for my Plushie Dreadfuls collection. Out of all the bunnies, this one feels the most like a little plush version of myself. Its soft pastel pink coloring, round glasses, rosy cheeks, and timid expression perfectly capture the gentle and reserved personality that I often present to the world.

Growing up, I used to think being shy was something I needed to overcome or “fix.” Society tends to celebrate outgoing personalities, and shy people are often encouraged to speak up more or come out of their shells. As I’ve gotten older, however, I’ve learned that being shy isn’t a flaw—it’s simply part of who I am. I’m someone who enjoys observing before participating, listening before speaking, and forming deep connections with a small number of people rather than trying to be the loudest person in the room.

Being autistic and having anxiety certainly contribute to my shyness as well. Social situations can be mentally exhausting for me, especially when they involve lots of people, unfamiliar environments, or expectations that I socialize in a particular way. Even ordering food or making phone calls can sometimes take more mental energy than people realize.

What I love most about the Shy Bunny is that it feels sweet and comforting rather than sad. Shyness isn’t something that needs to be cured or hidden away. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being quiet, gentle, or taking your time to feel comfortable around others. Some of the kindest and most thoughtful people I know are shy, and I’ve learned to appreciate that part of myself instead of wishing I were different.

The Shy Bunny is a reminder that it’s okay to move through the world at my own pace. I don’t need to become an extrovert to live a happy and fulfilling life—I can simply be Winnie: soft-spoken, pink-loving, and just a little shy. 💗🐇👓

Anxiety Bunny

Anxiety has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced throughout my life. Although I wasn’t officially diagnosed with severe generalized anxiety disorder until I received my autism diagnosis in 2022, I’ve been an anxious person for as long as I can remember. My brain has always had a tendency to jump to worst-case scenarios, overthink situations, and worry about things that may never happen. If worrying were an Olympic sport, I would probably have several gold medals by now.

The Anxiety Bunny is one of the most meaningful Plushie Dreadfuls in my collection because it represents something I live with every single day. Its bright red coloring immediately stands out among my other plushies and perfectly captures the overwhelming, all-consuming feeling that anxiety can sometimes create. Anxiety isn’t always quiet—it can feel loud, urgent, and impossible to ignore.

One of my favorite features of this bunny is that it comes with two adorable little Worry Bunnies. The idea behind them is wonderfully comforting: whenever you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you whisper your worries into the tiny bunnies and let them carry those worries for you. There’s something so sweet and childlike about giving your worries a physical place to go instead of carrying them all by yourself.

As someone with severe generalized anxiety disorder, I spend a lot of time worrying. I worry about my health, traveling, flying, social situations, making mistakes, and sometimes things that are completely outside of my control. Anxiety has a way of convincing you that every possible outcome needs to be anticipated and prepared for, which can be mentally exhausting.

Receiving my anxiety diagnosis alongside my autism diagnosis helped me better understand why my brain works the way it does. So many of the things I struggled with growing up suddenly made sense. Learning that my anxiety had a name allowed me to stop viewing myself as simply “overly sensitive” or “too much of a worrier.” My brain is just wired differently, and that’s okay.

While anxiety can make life more difficult at times, I’ve also learned that it comes from a place of caring deeply—about myself, the people I love, and the experiences I have. I’ve spent years learning healthier ways to manage my anxiety through therapy, medication, and giving myself grace when my brain decides to spiral a little.

The Anxiety Bunny and its tiny Worry Bunnies serve as a gentle reminder that I don’t have to carry every worry by myself. Sometimes it’s okay to set those worries down, even if only for a little while. And if all else fails, I can always whisper my worries to two tiny angry-looking rabbits and let them handle it for me. 🐇❤️✨

Depression Bunny

I received my diagnosis of moderate depression at the same time I was diagnosed with autism and severe generalized anxiety disorder in 2022. In many ways, finally having answers was both relieving and emotional. It helped me understand that so many of the struggles I had experienced throughout my life weren’t personal failures—they were the result of living with conditions that had gone unrecognized for years.

The Depression Bunny is one of the more understated designs in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection, but I think that’s what makes it so fitting. Depression isn’t always loud or obvious. Sometimes it simply feels like carrying an invisible weight everywhere you go. It can make even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming and drain the joy from things you would normally love doing.

I chose the Depression Bunny because it perfectly captures that quiet sadness. Its soft pastel blue coloring, droopy expression, and broken heart embroidered on its chest symbolize something many people with depression understand all too well—the feeling that part of you is hurting, even if nobody else can see it.

Before receiving my diagnosis, I spent a lot of time wondering why I seemed to struggle so much with motivation and energy compared to other people. There were days when getting out of bed felt difficult, and times when my interests and hobbies no longer brought me the happiness they usually did. Depression has a way of making you question yourself and convincing you that you’re simply not trying hard enough when, in reality, you’re fighting a battle that other people may never see.

Living with depression alongside autism, anxiety, ADHD, chronic migraines, and chronic fatigue can sometimes feel overwhelming. Mental health conditions rarely exist in isolation, and I’ve learned that they often affect one another in ways that aren’t immediately obvious. Some days I have plenty of energy and motivation, while other days my brain and body are asking me to slow down and simply exist.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that depression doesn’t define who I am. It is something I live with—not who I am as a person. I am still someone who loves pink things, plushies, traveling, football, blogging, and spending time with the people I care about. Depression may occasionally dim those joys, but it never takes them away completely.

The Depression Bunny serves as a gentle reminder to treat myself with compassion on the difficult days. Healing isn’t linear, and resting when I need to isn’t giving up—it’s giving myself the same kindness that I would so readily offer someone else.

This little bunny may have a broken heart embroidered on its chest, but it also reminds me that broken things can still be soft, beautiful, and deeply loved. 💙🐇

Autism Bunny

The Autism Bunny holds a very special place in my heart because it was the very first Plushie Dreadfuls that I ever purchased. In many ways, it’s the bunny that started my entire collection. I bought it to celebrate and honor my Level 2 autism diagnosis, which I received in December 2022 at the age of 28 after spending most of my life wondering why I felt so different from everyone else.

Receiving my autism diagnosis was one of the most life-changing moments of my life. Growing up, I always felt like I was playing a game where everyone else had been given the rulebook except me. Social situations felt confusing and exhausting, sensory experiences could become overwhelming, and I constantly felt like I had to work harder to fit into a world that wasn’t designed for the way my brain works. Finally having an explanation for those experiences was incredibly validating.

I chose the Autism Bunny not only because it represents my diagnosis, but because it represents self-acceptance. For so many years, I blamed myself for struggling with things that seemed to come naturally to other people. Learning that I am autistic helped me realize that I wasn’t broken or failing—I simply experience and interact with the world differently.

One of my favorite details about this bunny is its infinity symbol motif. The autism infinity symbol represents neurodiversity and the infinite diversity of autistic experiences. I love that it embraces autism as a natural variation of human neurology rather than something that needs to be “fixed.” No two autistic people are exactly alike, and I think that’s something worth celebrating.

The bunny’s soft pastel colors and gentle expression also perfectly reflect how I view my own autism. While autism certainly comes with challenges for me—particularly sensory issues, social difficulties, anxiety, and fatigue—it has also shaped many of the things I love most about myself. My passion for learning, my deep interests, my empathy for others, and the joy I find in seemingly small things are all intertwined with the way my brain works.

Being diagnosed with Level 2 autism also gave me permission to stop forcing myself to live by neurotypical expectations. I’ve learned that it’s okay to wear noise-reducing earplugs, take sensory breaks, stim when I need to, or spend an afternoon cuddling plushies instead of pushing myself past my limits. Accommodating my needs isn’t giving up—it’s taking care of myself.

Looking back, I sometimes wish I had received my diagnosis earlier in life. It may have saved me years of confusion and self-criticism. At the same time, receiving my diagnosis as an adult has allowed me to embark on a journey of rediscovering who I am beneath years of masking and expectations.

The Autism Bunny isn’t just another plushie in my collection—it’s a reminder that understanding yourself can be one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. It represents acceptance, growth, and the realization that being different isn’t something to hide. After all, my autism isn’t something I carry with me—it’s simply part of who I am, and I’m learning to love that person a little more every day. ♾️🐇💚

Peach Bunny

If I had to pick the sweetest bunny in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection, it would probably be the Peach Bunny. Unlike many of my other bunnies that represent diagnoses or struggles that I’ve experienced throughout my life, I bought this one simply because it made me happy. Sometimes, that’s reason enough.

The Peach Bunny has an adorable pastel pink design with soft heart details and even comes with a little mint green head scarf that reminds me of something a grandmother would wear while tending to her garden or baking pies in the kitchen. It’s impossibly cute and has a comforting, cozy aesthetic that immediately caught my eye.

There’s something about peaches that feels soft, gentle, and nostalgic to me. They’re sweet without being overpowering and have such a lovely pastel color palette that fits perfectly with my collection. Since pink is my favorite color, it almost feels like this bunny was designed specifically for my aesthetic.

I also love that this bunny doesn’t symbolize a medical diagnosis or difficult life experience. While I adore the mission behind Plushie Dreadfuls and appreciate how many of their designs have helped me feel seen and understood, I think it’s equally important to make room for joy. Not everything in life needs to be tied to overcoming a struggle—sometimes it’s okay to simply love something because it makes you smile.

The Peach Bunny serves as a reminder that softness is something worth embracing. Between managing autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, chronic migraines, and sensory issues, it’s easy for life to feel very serious at times. Having a bunny that exists purely because I think it’s adorable is a small but meaningful act of allowing myself to enjoy beautiful things without needing a deeper reason.

Out of all the bunnies in my collection, the Peach Bunny feels like a little embodiment of comfort, sweetness, and self-care. Sometimes the best things we buy aren’t the most practical or symbolic—they’re simply the things that bring us joy whenever we look at them. And honestly, I think that’s pretty peachy. 🍑🐇💕

Lemon Bunny

The Lemon Bunny is one of the happiest and most whimsical bunnies in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection. While many of my bunnies represent diagnoses or personal struggles, I bought this one simply because I adore lemons and the cheerful aesthetic that comes with them. There’s something so bright and refreshing about lemon-themed decor that instantly makes me smile.

Growing up, I never would have imagined that I would become someone who decorates her home with pastel fruit-themed accessories, but here we are! The Lemon Bunny fits perfectly with my love of soft colors and cozy aesthetics. Its creamy yellow fur, little green leaf collar, and embroidered lemon slice details make it look like it hopped straight out of a pastel cottagecore kitchen.

What I love most about this bunny is the expression on its face. It has those adorable little teary eyes that somehow manage to look both surprised and sweet at the same time. It gives the Lemon Bunny so much personality and makes it feel like an anxious little fruit companion that’s trying its best—which, admittedly, is quite relatable.

Unlike some of the other Plushie Dreadfuls in my collection, the Lemon Bunny isn’t tied to a diagnosis or a difficult chapter of my life. Instead, it represents something equally important: allowing myself to collect things purely because they bring me joy. Not every plush needs to symbolize a struggle. Sometimes it’s okay for something to exist simply because it’s cute.

Lemons are often associated with making the best out of life’s sour moments, and I think that’s a fitting sentiment for this collection as a whole. Many of my Plushie Dreadfuls represent challenges I’ve faced throughout my life, but they’ve also become symbols of acceptance, comfort, and self-understanding. The Lemon Bunny serves as a gentle reminder that life isn’t just about managing difficulties—it’s also about collecting little moments of happiness along the way.

Plus, let’s be honest—a bunny disguised as a lemon is just ridiculously adorable. And sometimes, that’s all the justification I need. 🍋🐇💛

Strawberry Bunny

The Strawberry Bunny is one of the cutest and fluffiest bunnies in my Plushie Dreadfuls collection. If you’ve spent any amount of time on my blog, you’ll probably know that I have a slight obsession with pastel aesthetics, adorable food-themed decor, and anything that looks like it belongs in a whimsical cottagecore bakery. Naturally, a bunny dressed as a giant strawberry immediately found its way into my shopping cart.

I love how Plushie Dreadfuls designed this bunny to look like an actual strawberry. From its bright red fur and leafy green collar to the embroidered strawberry details hidden inside its ears, every little detail makes it feel extra special. It’s also incredibly soft and has some of the fluffiest ears in my entire collection.

Unlike many of my other Plushie Dreadfuls, the Strawberry Bunny doesn’t represent one of my diagnoses or personal struggles. Instead, it represents something much simpler—my love for cute things and my appreciation for collecting items that bring me happiness. Not every plushie in my collection needs to carry emotional weight or symbolize a difficult experience. Sometimes it’s nice to buy something simply because it sparks joy.

Strawberries have always felt cheerful and nostalgic to me. They’re sweet, vibrant, and instantly remind me of all of the strawberry-themed things I adore, from desserts and stationery to home decor and fashion accessories. If it comes in pink or strawberry-themed packaging, there’s a very good chance I’ll be interested in it!

I also love that the Strawberry Bunny balances out the more serious themes represented throughout my Plushie Dreadfuls collection. While many of these bunnies have helped me feel seen in my experiences with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and chronic migraines, the Strawberry Bunny serves as a reminder that my personality isn’t defined solely by my diagnoses. I’m also someone who loves collecting adorable things simply because they make me smile.

At the end of the day, life should have room for softness, sweetness, and a little bit of whimsy. The Strawberry Bunny may not represent a diagnosis, but it represents something equally important—allowing yourself to embrace the things that make you happy, no matter how small or silly they may seem.

Besides, who could possibly say no to a giant fluffy strawberry bunny? I certainly couldn’t! 🍓🐇💕

Apple Bunny

The Apple Bunny is probably one of the most unique fruit-themed Plushie Dreadfuls in my collection. While strawberries and peaches are often associated with soft, pastel aesthetics, apples have always reminded me of cozy autumn days, homemade desserts, and wandering through apple orchards during the fall. As someone born in late October, anything that gives off autumn vibes immediately earns extra points in my book.

I absolutely adore the design details on this bunny. Its bright red fur resembles a freshly picked apple, complete with a little stem and leaf on top of its head. The inside of its ears are lined with adorable apple slice illustrations, and it even comes holding a tiny apple worm companion—which might just be one of the cutest plush accessories I’ve ever seen. After all, what’s an apple without its resident little worm?

One of my favorite things about collecting Plushie Dreadfuls is that not every bunny needs to represent a diagnosis or a difficult life experience. The Apple Bunny is simply a celebration of things I love—cute aesthetics, seasonal themes, and whimsical designs that make me smile whenever I look at them.

Since my birthday falls on October 25th, I’ve always felt drawn to autumn. It’s my favorite time of year, with cooler weather, pumpkin patches, apple cider, and cozy sweaters making their yearly return. The Apple Bunny feels like a little embodiment of everything I love about the season. If the Strawberry Bunny reminds me of spring and summer sweetness, the Apple Bunny perfectly captures the warmth and comfort of fall.

There’s also something charming about how unapologetically whimsical this bunny is. A giant apple with floppy bunny ears and a tiny worm friend isn’t exactly something I knew I needed in my life until I saw it. Plushie Dreadfuls has a wonderful way of turning everyday objects and themes into adorable companions, and the Apple Bunny is no exception.

Most importantly, the Apple Bunny reminds me that collecting plushies doesn’t always need to have a deeper meaning. Sometimes it’s okay to embrace things simply because they’re cute, comforting, and bring a little extra happiness into your day.

Besides, an apple a day keeps the doctor away—but an Apple Bunny might just keep the bad moods away too. 🍎🐇💕

Final Thoughts

Collecting Plushie Dreadfuls has become so much more than simply collecting cute plushies for me. Looking at my collection, I can almost see a timeline of my life—my autism diagnosis, ADHD diagnosis, struggles with anxiety and depression, chronic migraines, sensory issues, and even the parts of my personality that have shaped who I am. Each bunny tells a different story, and together they remind me that all of these experiences, both good and bad, make me who I am.

One of the things I appreciate most about Plushie Dreadfuls is that they approach difficult topics with compassion and creativity. Mental health conditions, neurodivergence, and chronic illnesses can often feel isolating, but seeing them represented through adorable plush companions has been surprisingly comforting. There’s something special about being able to hold a plushie that represents an experience you’ve struggled to put into words for years.

At the same time, my collection isn’t entirely made up of diagnosis-themed bunnies. Some of my favorites are simply fruit-themed or aesthetic designs that I bought because they made me smile. The Peach Bunny, Lemon Bunny, Strawberry Bunny, and Apple Bunny are wonderful reminders that my life isn’t defined solely by my diagnoses. I’m also someone who loves pastel colors, cute aesthetics, autumn, and collecting whimsical things that bring me joy.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my diagnostic journey, it’s that embracing who you are—diagnoses and all—is incredibly important. For many years, I felt like there was something wrong with me because I experienced the world differently from everyone else. Receiving my diagnoses didn’t change who I was; they simply helped me understand myself better and gave me the language to explain experiences I’ve had my entire life.

These bunnies serve as tiny reminders to give myself grace on difficult days and to celebrate the things that make me happy on the good ones. Whether they represent a lifelong diagnosis, a personal struggle, or simply my love for adorable fruit-themed plushies, every bunny in my collection has earned its place on my shelf and in my heart.

Your Turn

Do you collect Plushie Dreadfuls or other plushies? I’d love to know which bunny is your favorite or which one best represents you! Whether you collect them because they reflect your personal experiences or because they’re simply adorable, there’s no wrong reason to enjoy them.

Feel free to let me know in the comments which Plushie Dreadfuls bunny you would add to your collection. I’m always looking for new additions to my ever-growing bunny family—and let’s be honest, resisting these adorable little faces is almost impossible! 🐇💕
