My Favorite Perfumes: Sweet, Fruity & Gourmand Scents I Adore

my favorite perfumes

Hi pretties! 💕

If there’s one beauty category that always feels deeply personal to me, it’s perfume. I’ve always loved how a single spritz can change your mood. It can transport you somewhere nostalgic. It can also make you feel instantly more confident.

Over the years, I’ve collected a handful of scents that perfectly reflect who I am. My personality is cozy, sweet, soft, and sometimes a little playful. My perfume shelf features warm vanillas, candy-like gourmands, and dreamy fruity blends. These fragrances make me feel like me.

Here are my favorite perfumes. They are the ones I reach for again and again. Each one has its own little story and scent personality.

What I Look For in a Perfume

My scent taste leans very girly gourmand — think edible, warm, and sugary rather than floral or spicy.

I love fragrances that smell like vanilla frosting, freshly washed hair, or soft berries and cream. Earthy or musky scents are a big no for me. I prefer something cozy and comforting. It feels like a sweet hug in a bottle.

If it makes me smell like dessert, it’s probably already in my collection 🍰

Everyday Sweetness

Le Monde Gourmand Crème Vanille

Soft, creamy, and comforting — this is my go-to cozy-day scent. It smells like a vanilla latte with whipped cream on top. Perfect for quiet mornings, blogging sessions, or anytime I want to feel calm and warm.

Why I love it: It’s affordable, light, and never overpowering.

Ted Baker Mia

Mia is feminine and sweet without being too sugary. It has fruity and floral notes that feel elegant but still playful — perfect for everyday wear.

Why I love it: It’s the definition of “polished yet approachable.”

Ted Baker Polly

Polly feels like Mia’s younger, more carefree sister. She’s flirty, pink, and cheerful — with a candy-like twist that makes her perfect for brunches or sunny days.

Why I love it: It’s youthful, lighthearted, and reminds me not to take life too seriously.

Pop Princess Energy

Ariana Grande Thank U, Next

A sweet, creamy blend of macaron, pear, and coconut. It’s playful, confident, and comforting all at once — like self-care in perfume form.

Why I love it: It makes me feel soft but strong — unapologetically girly.

Ariana Grande Sweet Like Candy

The name says it all! This one smells like sugar clouds and marshmallows. It’s my cheerful, “instant good mood” scent for low-energy days.

Why I love it: It’s cozy and light — the olfactory version of a pink sweater.

Ariana Grande Ari Perfume

A classic fruity-floral with notes of raspberry and rose. It’s elegant and airy, a little more grown-up than her other perfumes but still full of charm.

Why I love it: It feels like the perfect everyday signature — fresh, sweet, and pretty.

Glamorous Gourmands

Viktor and Rolf Bonbon

This is sophisticated sweetness. Imagine warm caramel and juicy orange wrapped in a glossy pink bow. It’s rich and luxurious, yet wearable.

Why I love it: It’s an “I have my life together” kind of scent. It’s perfect for dinners or content shoots.

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy & Viva La Juicy Glacé

Viva La Juicy is nostalgic perfection — fruity, flirty, and timeless. The Glacé version adds a cooler, more crystalline twist.

Why I love it: It’s bubbly and girly, and the bottles themselves feel like collector’s pieces.

Designer Daydreams

YSL Mon Paris

Romantic and intoxicating — strawberry and pear blended with white florals and musk. This is what I wear when I want to feel feminine and graceful.

Why I love it: It’s elegant but still youthful — a perfect date-night fragrance.

Burberry Her

Modern, juicy, and uplifting. It’s all about berries, vanilla, and musk — like walking through a spring garden in a pink trench coat.

Why I love it: It’s fresh, versatile, and feels like a bright-day confidence boost.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Eau So Sweet

This perfume makes me think of sunshine and soft pink tulle. It’s fruity, creamy, and very easy to wear — perfect for spring or everyday errands.

Why I love it: It’s soft, innocent, and never too loud — a “barely there but memorable” kind of scent.

Hidden Gem

Too Faced Better Than Sex

A discontinued treasure that deserves a mention. It’s warm, cozy, and beautifully packaged in a blush-pink bottle.

Why I love it: It’s like my secret weapon — comforting and subtly seductive.

Scent Notes I Gravitate Toward

When it comes to perfumes, I’m drawn to:

  • 🍰 Gourmand bases — vanilla, caramel, praline.
  • 🍓 Fruity top notes — berries, pear, peach.
  • 🌸 Soft florals — peony, jasmine, rose.
  • ☁️ Warm undertones — amber, musk, sandalwood.

These ingredients make me feel cozy, confident, and quietly luxurious — everything I want in a scent.

How I Wear My Perfumes

I usually apply perfume to my pulse points. These include the wrists, behind the ears, and collarbone. I sometimes apply it on my clothes for longer wear. Layering my scents for custom blends is also a favorite thing of mine to do:

  • Ari + Crème Vanille → soft dessert-like sweetness.
  • Viva La Juicy + Mon Paris → fruity glam with depth.

I store my bottles away from sunlight. I always bring a travel mini when I’m on the go. Smelling good makes me feel put together.

Scent as a Love Language

Perfume is so much more than a beauty product — it’s a way of expressing who we are. These fragrances tell my story: soft, warm, and a little whimsical.

A cozy vanilla scent brings comfort. A fruity sparkle gives me confidence. Scent has a way of wrapping me in the version of myself I love most. 💕
