hi pretties! here are my favorite one-wash wonder eyeshadows. I love my one-wash wonders because they are easy to put on, and there’s absolutely no faff involved. there are times where I really do not feel like putting in an effort.
MAC Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch
MAC’s Eyeshadow in Naked Lunch is one of my favorite one-wash wonder eyeshadows. It’s described as a “minimal pink” on the website, but it is more of a neutral champagne color for me. I love how it doesn’t lean too pink or too gold- the perfect balance. I gravitate towards a lot of neutral beiges, champagnes, golds, and rose golds when it comes to one-wash wonders so this was the perfect pick.
Stila Pressed Eyeshadow Compact in Kitten
The Stila Pressed Eyeshadow Compact in Kitten is another one of my favorite one-wash wonders. Kitten is a shimmery light champagne gold, which is perfect for those days when I don’t want to create a look using a palette.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize in Pillow Talk
The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize cream shadow is definitely my favorite cream shadow of all time. It doesn’t feel too dry, and you can build it up. I particularly love the shade Pillow Talk, which is a beautiful neutral pink with shimmer. Although I naturally gravitate towards more neutral tones, I love how the pink in Pillow Talk is neutral enough to be worn on an everyday basis.
Charlotte Tilbury Jewel Pot in Pillow Talk
Although the Charlotte Tilbury Jewel Pots have sadly been discontinued, I still love the design and the actual product itself. The product itself feels light and spongy, which is what I prefer when it comes to potted or cream shadows. The packaging is also quite beautiful- the lid is designed to look like a faceted jewel. I have the shade Pillow Talk, which is a lovely deep rose gold.
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick
I love the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks as a one-wash wonder. All you have to do is swipe a little bit on and blend in with a brush or your fingers. I like putting one layer, but sometimes I’ll do two layers if I want a little pop of color. I love the formulation of these- they are creamy, not dry, and go on so easily. If I really love something, I always get it in a few different colors, and I got the Caviar Stick in three different colors:
- Rose Gold- a shimmery neutral rose gold
- Nude Rose- a shimmery pale rosy pink
- Kiss From A Rose- Kiss from a Rose was from one of their special collections, and it is a beautiful dusty rose
Glossier Lidstar Liquid Shadow
I’ll be honest, I never liked the idea of a liquid shadow. I am neurodivergent, so I despise the feeling that I get when I first dab on the liquid eyeshadow. It feels quite cold and wet, which gives me the overall ick. However, Glossier’s Lidstar doesn’t feel that cold or wet, and I can easily blend it out with my fingers or a brush. I don’t really get that cold and wet feeling when applying this liquid eyeshadow because it dries pretty fast and blends very well. I have the shade Slip, which is a beautiful baby pink with golden shimmer.
