Hi pretties! I’ve always loved word bracelets. You can make them spell whatever you want. I got a few word bracelets from a very special company. This company is Little Words Project. They create bracelets to empower women and girls. Their mission is to remind everyone that they are worthy. I love these bracelets because sometimes, it’s helpful to have a visual reminder of what you are capable of doing.
About the company
Little Words Project was founded by Adriana Carrig, who suffered years of bullying. While in college, she decided to make bracelets. These were for herself and her sorority sisters to remind them of their worth. According to Carrig, “kindness is a superpower”. The company is based out of northern New Jersey.
The Bracelets
I got a total of six bracelets from Little Words Project.
Hello Kitty
The Hello Kitty bracelet features pink beads with “Hello Kitty” spelled out and with a Hello Kitty bead. I got this one because of my love for Sanrio, especially Hello Kitty.
Scorpio
The Scorpio bracelet has purple beads and opaque beads with the symbol for Scorpio on one of the letter beads. I got this because I am a Scorpio sun. I am a sucker for anything horoscope related, so of course, I had to get it.
Keep Going
I chose the “keep going” bracelet to remind myself not to give up. The bracelet has rainbow translucent beads and has “keep going” spelled out. This bracelet encourages me to keep going at whatever I am doing. It’s been very helpful to remind myself to keep up with my job classes. It also helps with my blog and everything else I am struggling with.
I Am Enough
The “I Am Enough” bracelet has pink opaque beads with a few translucent ones as well. I got this one to remind myself I don’t need to change. I am enough just the way I am. Teaching myself I am enough is a tough lesson due to the high expectations I set on myself at times. This can make it feel impossible to achieve my goals. Since trying to keep the “I am enough” mindset, I’ve lessened the pressure I put on myself. I’ve also learned that trying my best at anything is enough.
In My Era
I got this “In My Era” bracelet because it’s a good reminder for me. Being in my era means that I get to decide what I want. Being in my era also means that I get to focus on me, and nobody else. No more comparing myself to others. That is a problem I faced constantly. I would compare myself to others, and it would crush my self-confidence. The “In my Era” bracelet is pink with some teal beads.
Evolve
My “Evolve” bracelet is mainly pink with a purple butterfly bead. I love this bracelet because it reminds me to always change. By staying the same, people stay stagnant. I do not want to stay stagnant because that is how I stay stuck. The reminder to always evolve is powerful.
