Hi pretties! As a former makeup fanatic (still am), I’ve purchased from dozens of brands. Some makeup has beautiful packaging. However, one brand has really sealed the deal when it comes to beautiful packaging. That brand is Flowerknows, a Chinese beauty brand. Flowerknows is known for their beautiful coquette packaging, and they have new releases every so often.
About the brand
The brand is inspired by fairytales. It encourages everyone using their products to “live as though they were in a fairytale”. They have come out with numerous collections, including the Moonlight Mermaid collection, which is inspired by The Little Mermaid.
Eyeshadow Palettes
I have three eyeshadow palettes from the brand. One is from their Moonlight Mermaid collection, while the other two are from their Strawberry Rococo collection.
The Moonlight Mermaid palette is a beautiful elongated octagon shape. It holds an image of a fairytale castle, and is pink as well. The shadows within the palette are five neutral shades. From left to right, they are a matte beige. Next is a matte taupe. Followed by a shimmery champagne, a matte copper, and a matte dark brown.
The Violet Strawberry Rococo palette has five eyeshadows. Unlike the earlier Moonlight Mermaid palette, the Violet Strawberry Rococo palette is chock full of beautiful lilac purples and lavenders. I normally don’t go for colorful shadows. But, I absolutely love the color scheme of this palette. It’s cohesive and still looks subtle.
The regular Strawberry Rococo palette is red, much like the color of a strawberry. The shadows are all neutral, but tinged with a subtle hint of red. This is the palette I would wear for everyday events, or even to work.
Blushes
I have a total of five blushes from Flowerknows. Two are from their Circus collection and the remaining three are from the Strawberry Rococo collection.
I have two of the Circus Gradient blushes. I love the packaging on these. They resemble something you would see out of Sailor Moon. A big bejeweled heart adorns the front of the blush. The blue blush is called Daydreaming, and it is a beautiful coral gradient blush. The pink blush, Wonderful Festival, is more neutral pink.
The blushes from the Strawberry Rococo collection are also equally as beautiful. They look like something out of a princess’s makeup collection. Two are from the original Strawberry Rococo collection while the third one is from the Violet Strawberry Rococo collection.
- Classic Ballet- nude mauve (left top blush)
- Romantic Blossom- bright peachy pink (right top blush)
- Little Cranberry- bright deep red pink (bottom blush)
Lipglosses
The last Flowerknows products I have are lipglosses. Three are from their Strawberry Rococo Collection, while the remaining one is from their Moonlight Mermaid collection.
- GE01- Stellar Nude- This lipgloss is from their Moonlight Mermaid collection. The packaging suggests that the lipgloss will be a shimmery white. It is also a subtle clear glitter gloss. Yet, the gloss is actually a beautiful warm toned nude. (bottommost lipgloss)
- S05- Tiny Tulip- This is actually a lip cream and not a lipgloss. It is comparable to a liquid lipstick that is not drying. Tiny Tulip is a warm toned pink that looks absolutely beautiful. (left lipgloss)
- G02- Raspberry Booze- This lipgloss is a beautiful berry pink (top lipgloss)
- G04- Blackberry Jam- Blackberry Jam is the only lipgloss with violet packaging. The gloss itself is also a lovely berry pink, but darker than Raspberry Booze (right lipgloss)
Overall, Flowerknows is such a beautiful brand. I love how the products look like they just came straight out of a fairytale book. I also love how carefully crafted the products are.
