Hi pretties! 💕
There comes a point in adulthood when you realize: the backpack isn’t just for school anymore. It’s a lifesaver for errands, travel days, content shoots — pretty much when you carry all the things. Today I’m celebrating the humble backpack and sharing my favorite ones from my collection.
Why everyone should have a backpack
Before my mid-twenties, I always reached for a crossbody or a tote and thought backpacks were just for students. Then I tried carrying my laptop, cables, camera, and life essentials in a single tote… and that didn’t end well.
Here’s why I love backpacks:
- Practicality: They evenly distribute weight, leaving your shoulders and arms far less sore.
- Space-friendly: I often use a backpack as my “personal item” on flights. There is no awkward brushing into someone behind you with a bulging tote!
- Versatility: From café-work days to exploring a city, the right backpack adapts to every moment
My Favourite Backpacks (and Why I Love Them)
Lovevook Leather Backpack

My newest addition and a definite favourite. It’s a soft blend of beige and pink, roomy enough for my MacBook Pro, iPad, cables, makeup stash and more. The bag that looks polished but works hard.
Fjallraven Kanken Laptop Backpack

It’s been well-loved (and shows it!). Perfect for travel under the seat. Holds my MacBook, iPad and some autism-accommodation essentials, all in one streamlined package.
Gaston Luga Classy Backpack

Sadly discontinued, but I’m so glad I found this gem. I love the contrasting pink flaps with black canvas. At ~13″ length, it works beautifully for café work sessions or a relaxed workday out.
Coach Kenley Backpack

Roomy and refined. With its ~15″ frame, this is my go-to for a day of everything. I carry a laptop, camera, snacks, and sometimes shopping-run essentials.
Aldo Burgundy Backpack

A thrift-find at Marshall’s from ~5-6 years ago. Less room than my travel-packs but perfect for daily outings: water bottle, wallet, key-essentials. The burgundy hue adds that little extra style.
Black quilted backpack

Compact and practical; the one I reach for most when I’m travelling light. Holds charger, water bottle, headphones and my minimal camera gear. Simple, chic, and dependable.
Michael Kors Rhea Backpack

My “every-day work bag” when I was still 9-5-ing. It’s smaller, so I don’t overload it. For minimal essentials like water, AirPods, and a snack, it does exactly what I need.
Final Thoughts
A backpack isn’t just “another bag.” It’s the bag that does the heavy lifting. It lets you carry what you need with comfort and style. Whether you’re commuting, shooting, traveling or just doing life, the right backpack can become one of your best style—and utility—pieces.
