Hi pretties! Having a backpack can do one of two things to a person. They might be reminded of their school days and cringe. The other reaction is relief from not having to carry a lot of stuff. They don’t have to lug it in a tote bag or a canvas bag. Here is my ode to the backpack and my favorite backpacks I have in my collection.
Why everyone should have a backpack
Before my mid twenties, I thought backpacks were only for school. I purely insisted on carrying around a small crossbody or even a tote bag when I wasn’t in school. That aversion to backpacks led to me attempting to carry my university work in a single tote bag. Obviously, that did not work. Here are some reasons why everyone should have a backpack:
- They are very practical. Backpacks may get a bad reputation for reminding people about their university days. They may even remind some of school days. However, they are very practical. You can carry all your day necessities without having to nurse a sore shoulder or arm.
- Space-friendly. Backpacks are also space-friendly. I often use a backpack as my personal item when flying. This way, there is no fear of accidentally nailing someone in the chest with a full tote bag. I have gotten hit a few times by a stray full tote bag, and it does quite the number.
My favorite backpacks
I have several favorite backpacks all ranging in size. They range from small to roomy.
Lovevook Leather Backpack

This backpack from Lovevook is my newest addition, and I’m glad I bought it. The pack is a beautiful combination of beige and pink. It has plenty of space not only for my MacBook but also for everything else I want to bring. This pack can fit my MacBook Pro and my iPad. It can also carry three full travel bags of wires and makeup. My canvas bags for shopping fit easily, as well as my AirPods Pro Max and Canon G7X Mark II. There is still room for much more. I’ll definitely take this as my personal item the next time I fly.
Fjallraven Kanken Laptop Backpack

My Kanken backpack looks worse for wear because of how much I’ve used it. However, it’s a great number to have in your collection. Although it doesn’t hold as much as the Lovevook leather backpack, it’s perfect for flying. It fits under the seat. I can fit my MacBook Pro in the Kanken, alongside my iPad and some other autism accommodations.
Gaston Luga Classy Backpack

Gaston Luga no longer make this style of backpack. However, it is a great school backpack. It can also be a great bag for a work day at a coffee shop. This backpack is 13 inches long. It can fit my MacBook Pro alongside some charging wires. It also fits my iPad and my AirPods Pro Max. This backpack is one of my favorites because I love the contrast between the pink flaps and the black canvas.
Coach Kenley Backpack

One of my favorite travel backpacks is my Coach Kenley backpack. I would bring this out on an excursion because it is very roomy. It is perfect for whatever we are doing that day. This is also a great choice for a workday at a coffee shop or even at a library. This backpack is 15 inches long. It can fit a MacBook Pro and some other devices. Such devices include an iPad, AirPods Pro Max, and more.
Aldo Burgundy Backpack

I got this backpack at Marshall’s about 5-6 years ago. It’s a great backpack for a day outing, or even for errands. This backpack has enough room to hold daily essentials like a water bottle, wallet, and some smaller things.
Black quilted backpack

This is the backpack that I bring with me when I travel the most. It is quite tiny, so not a lot can fit in there. However, it can fit what I need for the day. This includes a power bank, charging cables, a water bottle, my headphones, and my autism accommodations.
Michael Kors Rhea Backpack

The Michael Kors Rhea Backpack is my last everyday backpack. I used to take this to work with me when I was employed. It can’t fit much. However, it can fit all the daily essentials I need. This includes my AirPods, water bottle, and some food.

I just realised I don’t have a backpack, and I should definitely change that soon! I will have to find something functional yet stylish like the ones included here. Thanks!
Thank you for reading Molly! Backpacks are so amazing these days!
