Little Words Project: Enpowering Jewelry

Hi pretties! One of my favorite jewelry brands is Little Words Project. They have encouraging messages on most of their bracelets, but also have some personalized ones as well. Here is my Little Words Project collection and why they mean so much to me.

About the brand

After years of bullying, I started making bracelets in college for myself and my sorority sisters. The wearable affirmations reminded us of our worth, and got us through the tough times together. Ten years and millions of bracelets later, the Little Words Project™ community is living proof that kindness is a superpower. Thanks so much for being here, and remember: just be nice.

Little Words Project is the brainchild of Adriana Carrig, who experienced years of bullying. She started Little Words Project in college. She made bracelets for herself and her sorority sisters. These bracelets reminded them that they are better than the bullies they experienced in school.

My Little Words Project Collection

All together, I have six bracelets.

Scorpio bracelet

The first bracelet is the Scorpio bracelet from their Zodiac collection. I picked this one because my birthday is October 25, making my sun sign a Scorpio. I also have been told I embody Scorpio energy a lot. According to many astrology sites, Scorpio women are protective, possessive, and passionate, amongst other things. I do believe that I fully embody these traits as a Scorpio.

Evolve bracelet

The variation of the bracelet I have is sold out, but the one without the butterfly bead is in stock. I chose this one because it’s a reminder for me to always keep evolving for the better. It’s like how a caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly. It reminds me to keep improving myself and stay in my own lane instead of always comparing myself to others.

I Am Enough bracelet

This bracelet is my favorite one. Like Adriana, I was bullied throughout most of my school years. Bullying can lead to years of self-esteem issues, depression, and other negative things. I chose this bracelet because it reminds me that I am enough. I don’t have to listen to the bullies saying that I will never be enough. This is also something my partner tries to hammer into my head, and this bracelet solidifies that message.

In My Era bracelet

The version of my bracelet is discontinued, but they have the Friendship collection version still in stock. I chose this bracelet as a symbol to no longer comparing myself to others. The era of self-bullying for me is over. It also reminds me to pay no mind to the negative comments and remarks that people make about me. I am authentically me, and I will continue to be authentically me.

Keep Going bracelet

This is another bracelet that I love. I chose this one because I struggle with depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. For example, I used to give up after messing up once. I didn’t want to fail. I also struggle with suicidal ideation. This bracelet reminds me to keep going in life. It’s not only for me but also for my partner and friends. It also is a reminder to keep going at what I’m doing.

Hello Kitty bracelet

Unfortunately, this bracelet seems to be sold out. The Hello Kitty bracelet was part of their Hello Kitty and Friends collaboration. The collection featured Sanrio characters like My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, and Keroppi the frog. I chose this because I love Hello Kitty. I have well over 20 Sanrio plushies in my office alone.
