the one wash wonder edit

Hi pretties! If there’s anything I love when it comes to makeup, it’s definitely a good one wash wonder. One wash wonders are my favorite makeup product. They require little to no effort. They also save a lot of time. Here are some of my favorite one wash wonders.

Eyeshadow Sticks

Eyeshadow sticks are one of my favorite eyeshadow formulations when it comes to the one wash wonder. You can just smear it across your eyelids. Smooth it out with either your fingers or a brush. You’re all set! Here are a couple of my favorite eyeshadow sticks.

By Terry Ombre Blackstar

The By Terry Ombre Blackstar has been one of my favorite eyeshadows sticks. It is also one of my favorite one wash wonders. The formula is creamy, and sets pretty fast, making this both effortless and minimalistic. I recently repurchased my beloved Bronze Moon, a beautiful bronze shade, alongside Blond Opal, a shimmery champagne.

Laura Mercier Caviar Stick

I love the Laura Mercier Caviar Sticks. They’re one of my favorite high end eyeshadow sticks of all time. I love the creamy formula, and how easy it is to get that effortless wash of color. I have the shades Rose Gold. It is a classic rosy gold. I also have Nude Rose, which is a beautiful dusty metallic rose. Additionally, I have Kiss from a Rose, a beautiful rosy pink.

Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick

The Kiko Long Lasting Eyeshadow Stick is another eyeshadow stick love. These are the one of the few drugstore eyeshadow sticks I’ve tried and loved. The formula feels very similar to the higher end By Terry and Laura Mercier eyeshadow sticks. The colors I have are Holo White, a shimmery pale white, and Vintage rose, a rosy bronze.

Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Stick

The Milani Gilded Eyeshadow Stick is another drugstore eyeshadow stick I love. I have the shade Blossom, which is a beautiful rosy pink with champagne glitter.

Liquid Eyeshadows

Liquid eyeshadows are messier than eyeshadow sticks. However, they still deliver that same pop of color. They can also be layered up to be more vibrant.

Glossier Lidstar in Slip

The Glossier Lidstar in Slip is a beautiful baby pink with a golden sheen. The packaging looks just like a test tube, which is very cute.

Stila Shimmer & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

The Stila Shimmer and Glow are definitely a messy liquid eyeshadow, but the result is worth it. I just need to dab a little bit onto my eyelids. Then I messily rub it in. My eye look is complete. I have this in the shade Kitten, a beautiful rosy gold, and Kitten Kaleidoscope, a bronze gold.

Cream shadows

One of my all time favorite one wash wonder formulations is the cream shadow. This is the least messy of the one wash wonders. You can either swipe them on for a sheer wash of color. Alternatively, layer another eyeshadow on top for a bright pop of color.

Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadow

The Hourglass Scattered Light Glitter Eyeshadows technically aren’t a cream shadow. I classify them as a cream because they come in a jar. The formula of the shadows is quite springy and bouncy. I like how this adds a faint wash of color with plenty of shimmer. The colors I got were Reflect. It’s an old favorite of mine in bronze rose gold. Aura is a beautiful pink. Rapture is a stunning cranberry.

Charlotte Tilbury Jewel Pot

Although Charlotte Tilbury no longer makes the beloved Jewel Pot, it is such a great product. The texture of the Jewel Pot is spongy, and the packaging looks looks like a gemstone. The Jewel Pot also only came in one color: Walk of Shame, a beautiful coppery rose gold.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize

The Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerize is a beautiful cream shadow. The formula is a bit tough, but overall, it’s a great eyeshadow. I have the shade Pillow Talk, a beautiful dusty rose.

Single Eyeshadow

My favorite way to get a one wash wonder is through a single eyeshadow. Single eyeshadows are the least messiest, but they take the longest to get right. However, they take much less time than putting together a look using a palette.

Mac Naked Lunch Frost Eyeshadow

If there’s anything I love in a single shadow, it’s those champagne and gold shades. Mac’s Naked Lunch fits the champagne bill, as it’s a minimal pink with shimmer.

Kiko Water Eyeshadow

I know, I definitely need to fix the pink one…despite that, these eyeshadows are phenomenal single shadows. They can be used wet or dry. I have three of the Water Shadows. Champagne is a classic champagne that is perfect. Baby Rose is an intense rosy pink. Golden Rose is a rose gold.

Stila Kitten Pressed Eyeshadow Compact

I absolutely love the Stila Kitten Eyeshadow Compact. Kitten is a gorgeous champagne pink, and that pretty much says it all.
