hi pretties! one thing you might not know about me is how much I love home decor. I love decorating and sprucing up my spaces with unique items. Unfortunately, there are some stores that just don’t have what I’m looking for. However, there are some stores I absolutely love, and here are the stores where I love to shop for home decor.
Online
I find that shopping for home decor online is easier than shopping in person, because I can actually find the items I like. Here are some of my favorite stores to shop online from.
Lovely Flowers by Vianey
Lovely Flowers by Vianey is where I got my pearl bears and my rose bears. The owner, Vianey, is a lovely soul who loves all things pink and girly. I especially love that she sprays her rose bears with Victoria’s Secret body spray to add that extra touch. I own the Unicorn Rose Bear, the Isabell Pink Rose Bear, the Mini Cotton Candy Pearl Bear, and the Victoria’s Secret Pearl Bear.
Pretty Luxury Bouquet
Pretty Luxury Bouquet is yet another beautiful shop run by pink and girly lover Jenn Tilly. Her flower boxes are some of the most beautiful things I have in my office, and I love how they add that nice girly touch. I have the No. 5 Chanel Bouquet and the Hello Kitty Bouquet.
Temu
Temu is one of those hit and miss online shops. Everything on there is cheap, which is great. The downside of this is that sometimes, it means you’re getting quantity over quality, which can lead to things falling apart quite quickly. However, they do have some great deals. I got a Rose Bear with a Pearl Heart, a Rose Heart, several flower cushions (white, green, blue, purple, pink, and two pastel rainbow ones), a heart mirror, and two mirror trays. Temu may be hit or miss, but their home decor is of decent quality.
Amazon
You can practically find anything you need on Amazon these days. From groceries to medicine, they have it all. One of my favorite home decor pieces from Amazon is this rose light. It looks so beautiful especially since the vase is made of crystals, and it’s the perfect touch for a girly office like mine. I also bought a small neutral lamp which was originally on my bedside table, but I have since moved it to my office to provide a little bit of ambient soft light.
In store
In store shopping is much different for me. When I shop for home decor in store, I try to shop from small businesses. I really love getting special pieces of home decor for my spaces, especially if they remind me of a trip.
Homegoods/Marshall’s/TJ Maxx
I know Homegoods isn’t a small shop, but they have a few good things that I love. Funnily enough, Homegoods and Marshall’s was where I got the majority of my pink home decor. I got flower pots from there, shelving units, and even a few crystals. My favorite home decor items to get from Homegoods are small trays, candles, notebooks and planners, and canvases.
Cowtown Farmers Market
Cowtown is a farmers market/flea market located in Pilesgrove, New Jersey. It is a short 20-30 minute drive for me across the bridge. I love shopping at Cowtown because they have a lot of vendors, and I even got some home decor pieces from them too. I got a little calendar, a cube full of inspirational quotes, and some wooden canvases for 3 dollars. That’s 6 items for 3 dollars, which is not a bad deal. I also got a Hello Kitty Stanley cup from the market as well, which I use as decoration.
Frog and Toad
Frog and Toad are a store located in Providence, Rhode Island. I love that not only do they have a physical shop, they also deliver. I have a few prints from them, including this Iconic RI Foods Print, the Rhode Island Letterpress Print, and a Rhode Island State Map Print. I love their home decor because my partner is from Rhode Island, and I genuinely find the state really pretty and interesting.
Brown and Hopkins Country Store
Brown and Hopkins Country Store is another Rhode Island shop located in Chepachet, a village located in Glocester. I loved the little home decor items they have, and it’s a small shop, so double win!
