Hi pretties! Here are 7 bags every girl needs in her wardrobe! We all know accessories can make or break an outfit. There is no other accessory that fits that level other than a bag. We all need different bags for different occasions. For example, a white gown gala requires a clutch or wallet on chain. A workday requires a structured tote or something similar. Here are all the ones I think every girl should have!
The Tote Bag
A tote bag is the one-bag-does-all. It can serve as your work bag. It can also be a diaper bag if you have little ones under 2, or even a carry-on travel bag! I love my Kate Spade Greta Court Bag as my tote bag. The glitter bottom definitely makes a statement. The only problem I find with tote bags is that they do not distribute weight evenly. If you’re carrying everything in your tote bag, your shoulders will be uneven.
The Backpack
I much prefer the backpack as an all-day bag rather than a tote bag. Backpacks usually are big enough to carry all that you need in a day. They also distribute weight evenly across your shoulders, so there’s no fear of the hunchback look. My favorite backpacks are the Coach Kinley backpack and the Ecosusi Convertible Briefcase. I also like the Michael Kors Rhea backpack and the Gaston Luga Classy backpack. These backpacks are big enough to hold everything I need in a day, including a water bottle.
The Structured Bag
Every girl needs a structured bag in her wardrobe. A structured bag looks professional. It gives the air of “I know what I’m doing,” even when you really do not. I know not everyone can afford a bag that costs as much as their mortgage payment or their rent. That’s why the Walmart Birkin Bag (aka the “Wirkin”) became so popular. It went so viral that other companies have started making their own “Wirkin” bags. I have a bag from Walmart. It not only looks like a Birkin bag but also comes with its own little wallet. I also have a structured satchel bag I got when I was working retail. A satchel bag is also a good choice. You can choose it if you don’t need to tote a laptop to and from the office.

The satchel bag is a great bag to have in your collection. They are smaller than totes, but still roomy to hold everything you need in a single day.
The Crossbody
The crossbody bag is a great option for a day outing where you’re going to be eating out. It’s also a great choice if you don’t want to tote around a backpack all day. I always bring a crossbody bag when I’m traveling internationally, just to keep pickpockets at bay.
The Everyday Bag
Every girl needs a good everyday bag. A bag she has when she’s not working, or when she has errands to run. I like a bag that’s roomy, but not too big for my everyday bag.
The Evening Bag
The last bag every girl needs in her wardrobe is the evening bag. A wallet on chain is a great option. You can keep all the bare essentials like your wallet, ID, some cards, and your phone. A clutch is also a viable option.
