Hi pretties! 💖
Imagine a life where money wasn’t a barrier. What would you do? Travel endlessly? Create your dream home? Pour your energy into a beloved cause?
I’ve been thinking about that “what if” lately—what I’d do if every financial worry disappeared. Here are the six big dreams I’d chase, if money truly were no issue. I hope they spark something in you too.

Buy a home — a cozy sanctuary for us

The first thing I’d do is buy a modest, love-filled home. Enough space for me and my partner, separate corners where we can each retreat and decompress. A place not just to live but to feel comfortable. It would be somewhere pets can roam. It would be where plants can soften the air. It’s a place where creativity and quiet coexist. Every time I scroll through home-inspo boards, I have the same thought. I wonder, “What would it feel like to not worry about rent or mortgages?” If money were no issue, the home would be a backdrop to our life. It would be not just an investment. It wouldn’t be a burden.

Travel the world — with curiosity and heart

Second: pack a suitcase and keep going. I’ve visited a handful of places so far, and my travel-bug heart is still hungry. I’ve been dreaming of being immersed in new cultures and meeting new people. From the awe of the Northern Lights in Iceland to the familiar streets of Singapore (my birthplace), I envision owning the road less traveled. If funds weren’t a problem, I’d explore the rest of the U.S.—New England’s autumn leaves, Cascadia’s wild coastlines—and map my moments instead of mapping costs. This isn’t just about “seeing the world.” It’s about being transformed by it, and maybe bringing someone I love along the ride.

Open a neuro-friendly coffee shop/bookstore — a home for me & others

As someone who’s neurodivergent, I know how much standard environments can feel mis-aligned. Buzzing machines, crowded tables, clashing scents—it all adds up. So if money were no issue, I’d build a safe, gentle space: part café, part bookstore, entirely quiet-friendly. Imagine warm lighting, soft music, corners with comfy chairs and shelves of diverse books. A place where creators, readers, thinkers—especially neurodivergent folks—can just be. This would be less about profit and more about belonging. It would be a place where I feel seen, and where others do too.

Support fellow content creators — especially neurodivergent voices

One of my big dreams? Helping fellow creators who don’t always have the infrastructure or support. I’ve heard too many stories of invoices not getting paid, of disabilities being ignored, of creators stuck in limbo. If money were no issue, I’d build a fund or a platform where artists, crafters, streamers can thrive—not just survive. I’d mentor, invest, and cheerlead. I’d give them the tools that I wish I’d had when I started. Because creation is not a luxury. It’s a way of being seen. And I want to help make that more possible.

Get a camper or RV — a road trip for the soul

My father once dreamed of owning an RV. He never got to do it before he passed away in 2020. If money were no issue, I’d honour that memory by doing it instead. I’d hit the highways and wake up where the trees touch the sky. I would sleep under stars and discover the U.S. in slow motion. It wouldn’t be just a “van trip.” It’d be a living tribute, a moving meditation. A way to rest, to roam, to remember, to reconnect—with myself, with him, with the earth.

Adopt shelter animals — give them love, give myself joy

If I had no financial cap, I’d adopt not one, but maybe a handful of rescue dogs and cats. I’ve seen how long-term shelter animals change when they finally find a forever home—they soften, breathe easier, transform. Animals heal us. They ground our colourful daydreams in tactile, fuzzy reality. I want to be that doorway of happiness for them. A safe space, paws and purrs and unconditional presence.

    1. Thank you for reading Caroline! It would be so cool to travel around the US in a little camper, it’s what my father would have loved to do before he passed away. Maybe I’ll make a point to get one to honor his memory!
