The city’s boardwalk is its most famous feature — stretching 5.5 miles, it’s the longest boardwalk in the world. Take a stroll along the shore. Stop for arcade games or souvenirs. Make sure to visit the Steel Pier, an amusement park right across from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Fun fact: saltwater taffy was born here! In the 1880s, candy shop owner David Bradley accidentally soaked his taffy supply in ocean water during a flood. Instead of tossing it out, he decided to sell it as “saltwater taffy.” The rest, as they say, is sweet history.

Grounds for Sculpture is located in Hamilton Township. It is a 42-acre sculpture park and arboretum. This park blends art, architecture, and nature into one breathtaking experience.
Home to over 270 sculptures, the park also features peaceful ponds and beautifully landscaped gardens. It is both an outdoor museum and a place of quiet reflection. Founded in 1992, its mission has always been to make contemporary sculpture accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
The grounds were once part of the old New Jersey State Fairgrounds. They were later transformed into a living art space. This space is filled with curated plant life and creative design. Strolling through it feels like wandering inside an art piece itself — a space where nature and imagination coexist.

☕ Tip: Bring your own snacks or picnic to save money. Even though there’s a café onsite, the park’s atmosphere makes it the perfect place for your own little lunch break.
BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham — A Spiritual Masterpiece
Located in Robbinsville, BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham USA is the largest Hindu mandir in the Western Hemisphere. It is the third largest in the world. Completed in 2023 after eight years of construction, this magnificent temple complex is a true feat of architecture and devotion.
The mandir includes 13 intricately designed shrines dedicated to various Hindu deities, all handcrafted with exquisite detail. The shrines are built from pink sandstone and marble. It stands as a global symbol of Hindu heritage. It is also a spiritual hub for Indian-Americans across North America.
